Stressful + Blissful Life

Stress! Stress! Stress!

During the first week studying in UCO, I really felt that is kinda relaxing studying here. People is nice, lecturers are friendly, officers are always with a smiling face and guess what, I love the environment here especially the university's facilities. For instances, there are computer lab which has free internet-access, printing for free so that you do not have to buy your own printer (lucily I did'n bring my printer), gym & wellness center, dancing studio and swimming pool. I would say they have basically everything that I need. In a nut shell, I am HAPPY! hahaha... United States seem to be very careful of disease transferring from other countries. Each and every international student is required to get an injection on the first day they arrive at UCO. Thanks to the government's awareness, I have got 2 shots on my left hand at the same day. The worst part is I still have 5 more shots to go in October and next year. >.<""""

Well, since everything is so fantastically nice here, why am I so stressful???

I would say my life is getting more and more busy then the first and second week I got here. I have 2 tests coming up next week. There are 5 chapters for Sensation & Percepetion and 3 chapters for American History to study. Yet, I havent get my lap report and lab notebook done which the due is on friday. Apart from that, I just got elected as a Vice President for Malaysian Students Association (MSA) just now. I won't say a lot of stuffs to do but still a few activities are coming up next month. Then, I feel that the mobile phone usage system is sucks here in US. They have some sort of very complicated way of purchasing the plans and weird phone billing system. I don't understand why do we need to pay for the text messages that we receive from our friends. That's stupid! Well, I bought the plan which has 600 minutes to talk on the phone for a month without free in-coming calls. Therefore, I will get charge if someone call my phone. It has been troubling me all the way just because of the phone thing. When I finished my minutes less than a month, i went ti refill my minutes for 10 bucks. Who knows, it finished up less than a day. Damned it! So, I can only receive phone calls at night because they don't charge you at night. Gosh~~ Why is everything so troublesome???

Furthermore, I have another problem which is related to the bank that I am using now. Currently, I am using the Citizens Bank of Edmond here because the location of the bank is just right at the center of the university. I am thinking of changing another bank because others provide higher interests. I wont say I have lots of money but still I wish I could get more interests if I am in the position to decide where should I save my money. Ahhhh~~~ I just remember one thing. I haven't get a pin number yet for my debit card. It was such a embarrassing moment when I wanna try to use my debit card to make payment at the market. Then, only I realized I actually need to have a pin in order to make payment. So end up I paid by cash. I can't stand myself somehow.

Actually I dont know what happened to our internet wireless system here. You will never know when it's gonna work. It will be very fast if is working. But it will make you very frustrating if is not working like now. That's why I am blogging now in the computer lab. I would like to upload my birthday photos on facebook because I love those pictures. I have never thought of having such a birthday party in US when I was Malaysia. I have been worrying how am I gonna celebrating it since I am all along to study abroad in a strange place. Some more, I got an iPod for birthday present. Wahahaha.. (laughter is abit too evil) Actually I celebrated my birthday for 3 days on friday, saturday and sunday. (I was hecking surprised!) Me and my friends went to a Taiwan cafe for bubble teas after my work at night. Everyone was playing cards and I taught them the my co-called UNO style game. After that, we went Benjamin's house again for dinner which we cooked by ourselves. We had curry chicken and chinese ABC soup and also a kinda failed salty egg cooked by a guy from China. On Sunday, I was too tired to get my ass off from my bed. But everyone seemed to insist me to go out for dinner at Chewy's place. Well, since the cafeteria was closed I have no choice but to follow them. When I reached her place, someone asked me to grab a cake inside the fridge. That was how I got my birthday cake and iPod. Luckily I am good keeping my emotions and strong enough to control my tears of joy.

There is a chinese saying, people needs parents at home, but they need friends when they are out of the house. I am grateful that I have my friends here in UCO. I really cherish the friendship that I am having with my friends. We do almost everything together just like a family. Well, we already have family name for each of us.

I'm tired but I'm joyful!

UCO - Go Broncho!

I am studying in University of Central Oklahoma. People here is all very nice and friendly. Well, I love this picture because many of my friends say that I really look like a very hardworking university student. Hahahaha... which is not completely accurate.

Airport Story

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls!

What a freaking terrible horrible stupid mistake I've made! 20 years in my life, I guess I've never miss a bus before and not even a train. But, how can I freaking miss a flight to United States? Guess what, i wasted 3 thousand plus bucks just because I didnt see the ticket properly. What the heck~~~~ =(

My mind completely gone blank at the airport last night. I've no hecking idea what I should probably be doing. Thanks to Malaysia Airlines and the staffs at KLIA making me went round and round in the airport like a FOOL.

Those staffs working over there has not even eaten any so-called "Brain Food" before and this is why they are so freaking "intelligent'.

Brain Food=

After I knew I missed my flight, I went online and search for possible flight in order to reach US on time. God Bless! My darling managed to find a United Airline flight at 11.30pm which I'm still able to catch it a few hours later. But, I'm not quite sure the time showing on the internet is referring to US timing or Malaysia timing. Thus, I went to see a staff at the counter. His "non-brain food" face looked so SMART and stared at my laptop screen for almost an hour and made no respond. Luckily, my patience has been trained by them for 20 years living in Malaysia. After that, he told me all the timing showing on the internet no matter from KLIA to Japan or L.A. to Oklahoma are Malaysia timing with his very "sure" tone. Wow~~~ If that were all malaysia timing, I guess I'm gonna stay at Japan airport and also L.A. airport for more than 50 hours before I can reach my destination. It scared me and my dad the shit off.

In fact, he was freaking wrong. And, that wasn't the case! Guess what? He's the FUCKING supervisor and so-called manager of the airport!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What? what? what? Say it again please! Malaysia KLIA is ranking in the world? How could it be? Everyone only know the things that they have to do it everyday like checking passengers in. But, if you ask them for more information. They'll take you go for "Marry-go-round" instead of pointing you to the accurate way. What can I say then? Only a word which fit them the best = INEFFICIENCY! KLIA is like some sort of enormous and huge present box but there is nothing inside except pieces of paper given by some of your moron friends just to pissed you off on your birthday.

Frankly speaking, I really hope there is someone could empower our people and enhance the capability of Malaysia. No matter what, I born here and live here. I kinda know the problems and bad policies in my country. The most important thing is we are still not united enough to build a strong bridge in order to carry each and everyone in Malaysia. People killing people everywhere. If the government know that you are good at something and if you are a "brain food" eater, they'll straight away chop you off. This sound absolutely unfair but fundamentally we cannot do anything because we are not united enough. The government is kinda reluctant to unite and gather others who are not a "Malay'!

Malaysia BOLEH! ?? Bullshit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
