Sounds like a good news...

The Star Online, "Umno abolishes quota systems for candidates going for top posts"...

In fact, "quota is illegal" in United States. I read this from my Organizational Behavior text book yesterday. But I know it is NOT in Malaysia. How sad~

It that gonna be true? Well, it would be fantastic if the "quota system" mentality can be abolished. All these while, climbing up the laddar and obtain a higher status of position particularly in government party has alwasys been an issue in Malaysia. People desperately wanted to protest and change it but end up no one dare to take the first step because we understand that one's current position may be affected if he or she requests for a higher one. Therefore, they would like to do it in another non-aggressive way, that's called ameliorate the condition.

Well, seems like it's getting better now. Frankly speaking, can we find justice in Malaysia? I mean the real one. Not the one we have in school, teachers spank who deserve the spanking.

I hope everyone is given equal opportunity of doing what they are meant to and hopefully Malaysia can be a better country which everyone would look up to with respect.

09 / 09/ 09

Hey!

What a nice date!?

09 / 09 / 09

.... time, 09 : 09 : 09

It should be a memorable date. Nothing much happened today. Just done with a test and I've got back lab report and I realized that I've got 97%. Woohoo~ I was cursing and swearing while I was doing it. Well, not bad... at least, I'm glad that my professor sees my hard work.

I had to work at 8am this morning and I usually have 3 classes on Wednesday. After my second class, I have a meeting at 2pm in the International office. Test began after meeting. wow... busy!~

But let's us cherish 090909. This is so awesome!

A typical Thursday night

Oh, it's another rainy day... ...

I just realized that it is raining out there once I've done cooking my dinner. The sky has been waiting to rain for the whole entire morning, afternoon, and now it finally rains in the evening. The rain seems like washing off the moodiness of my day. I need some element to cheer me up lately. In fact, I have not been cheered but have been cheering up a lot of people lately, for quite a while...

Dinner is okay. I'm having some chicken with broccoli and an extra sunny side up egg. Some would claim that I'm frustratedly picky over food. But I would like to protest that I am not (sometimes ^.^) As some may know, I can be quite "whatever-ly" easy-going as long as I have RICE, EGGS, VEGE and big portion, of course, for me (for those who know me well). I don't like the feeling of getting hungry. I think no one does except for those who are having Nervosa Aneroxia, eating disorder. Somehow, I really hope they would EAT for themselves but not the physical appearance. I can completely understand the social pressure they are dealing with. People, nowadays prefer slim girls than plump girls. Nice body shape may have a plenty of advantages which some may not even getting one. Look at how unfair the society is nowadays.

People's distorted mindset and perception are eventually killing people's life.
Can you believe that?

Since this is considered a case of murdering, should we all sentenced to death? Discrimination, prejudice and stigmatization are everywhere in the world. People are surrounded by all these nonsense. Name me a place where there is no discrimination at all. I'm not sure anyone could ever find such a heavenly nice place.

In a positive manner, people would refer you to see a psychologist or a therapist in order to solve your problems in life. Do you think psychologists never discriminate against people? They do. That's why they could hardly solve their own problems. Not that they are not good enough. It's just way too hard. Because they are still human beings. This is called LIFE.

What is life? Social...
What is social? Society and people...
Why is society and people creating problem among each other?

....Because they do not know how to deal with their life in terms of society and interacting with people.

People are barely talking to people nowadays. We speak much lesser than the olden days. The reason is we have emails, facebook, myspace, twitter, online messenger or the easiest one - texting! (who does'nt...? huh?)

I was chatting on MSN with a friend today. He requested for video call and I got a little excited because I can talk to him without my hand typing on the keyboard. Unfortunately, we were just webby-ing each other. End up we both still have the type. I was like... "I prefer talking to each other if we have decided to on the webcam lohhh.." Really I felt a little bit "what-the.." So, what's the point?

What is communication nowadays?

So, you guys see how communication affect people psychologically and causing them eventually diagnosing a plenty of bizarre mentally ill disorders.

People get mentally ill either when they talk too much or they talk too less. It's all about personal interaction with others. People call you "nerd" when you talk less than others. If you can't take it, they will ultimately call you "psycho" ... why?
...because you just went crazy of unable to accept WHO YOU ARE!

Again, BE YOURSELF!

Why make plans?

Time passed, things changed.

I'm not sure if my dream of going to China would come true next year summer. Different people has different perception towards many things. So far, I may have many options of doing many things or how am I gonna lead my future life. But which one is best for me. No one have the answer for this.

I'm used to a person who have planning for everything before I actually do it. You may call me a perfectionist who would like things to go the way I demand. My organizer is always with me wherever I go. I dislike when the time I have no idea what I'm gonna do for tomorrow.

In social circumstances, people have conversation with people. The most common question would be "hey, how are you?", "What you gonna do later?". Many people would say "I don't know what I'm gonna do later?". Well, you don't even know you gonna have dinner later? or you'll be staying at home and watch movie?

Saying "Don't know" would not be my preference words.

Yes, it is hard to predict what is gonna happen tomorrow. But plannings are greatly important in our daily life. Without proper planning, your life might be a little bit mess up or disorganized - overwhelmed schedule, unclear vision. These would cause people unnecessary worries of how life is gonna be tomorrow. In contrary, too much planning may cause you frustration because things do not go the way you expected.

So, why make plans?

Let's goes with the flow.

The frustration of not getting what I want in life leading me to stop making plans for my future. I had enough of those frustration and I should learn to be more relaxing since I'm still a student.

However, you might be a little bit late catching up with the pace of the industrious world if you always slack at home and do nothing - waiting your friends to call you, asking you out for a movie, going out for a party. The motivation of having a initiative personality plays a huge role in the society. We should have the initiation to think what can we do after we graduate, what's my annual salary so that what kind of life style I can have, how much extra money I can have for traveling, nice cars, houses, jewelry and unnecessary stuffs - materialistic freak!
Well, that's nowadays life!

Perfectionism makes my life perfectionistly ordinary!

Washington DC is somehow a very nice and memorable place to visit for ONLY tourists. People who live there hate walking around DC and even driving to DC. Because there are not many packing spaces and the traffic is terribly horrible especially during rush hours. My uncle and my aunt brought me to DC and unfortunately they've got a fine ticket which costs $100. Ouchh! Because we didn't know that we can't park there anymore after 4pm.

My uncle and I have something in common. Probably I've got this from him. We both like taking photos, not just taking photo of us but beautiful scenes. I like taking photo from different angle and see how does this building look differently from a several different angles. Just like life, people may somehow find they way out of troubles by seeing things from a different angle. Photos are the same. The original building may not looking good, but if you know how to snap it by the side. It looks fantastically gorgeous on my camera. Dang it, I need to get a SLR Canon. =P No money right now.

Walking alone again in DC was great. I don't have to create conversation with my uncle and aunt since I'm not together with them. All I have to do was just follow my heart and do what I like. Sometimes, I'll do stupid thing if I'm alone all by myself. Such as, making a circle inside the museum and I have no idea why did I do that. I worried what if someone notice what I've done. Loitering?!

I enjoyed walking and walking by myself because I can observe what people do in those kind of tourism places. I saw parents talking to their children and explaining why were they walking around Lincoln Memorial under the HOT sun. There were also parents yelling and screaming at their children, lecturing, arguing, staring at their children. I saw couples hugging and kissing in the middle of White House. I saw so-called professional photographer taking good angle of photos - that's why I always approach them for helping me to take photos. I saw people jogging, running, playing baseball and cycling. I saw people slacking on the bench and talking to whoever pass by them. I saw people with Tuxedo walking around with their working laptop bags. I saw people from numerous of countries - 85% dark chocolate, 75% dark chocolate, 55% chocolate, half & half dark and milk chocolate and very milk chocolate. The melting pot of everything.

I really enjoy seeing all these diversity. I enjoy listening to different people speaking different accent of English.

Isn't fascinating?

The only thing I hate traveling by myself is I don't have a friend to take photo with me. =(
